General
Male-only human paranormals who’s kiss gives them the ability to temporarily control others.
Power is on all the time. They can’t turn it off, ever.
Powers
A kiss from a Casanova links them to their ‘victim’ and allows them to control them for a period of time. Their victim is totally and completely in love with the Casanova during the time they are under their control. Like with Sleeping Beauties, the victim suffers memory loss of the event afterwards.
One unique ability with Casanovas is their kiss is powerful enough to grant them control over many Paras. When under their control, the Para can be induced to use their Para powers in service of the Casanova.
The more times a Casanova kisses a victim, the more power they have over them and the longer the period of control they have over them. This is even true of weak Casanovas but is especially true of strong Casanovas.
Casanovas are immune to other Casanovas.
Weak Casanovas can only control one person at a time. Average Casanovas can control a few people at a time. Strong ones, can control many people at once.
Can see, hear and sense through those they are controlling.
Weaknesses & Limitations
Power is limited to a kiss. Eyes are seductive. They’re really charming, naturally. But they can’t really work their power unless it’s through a kiss.
All the same human frailties and weaknesses of humans.
Lifestyle
Because every kiss puts someone under their control, falling in love and finding a true intimate relationship is hard for them.
Side Effects
One side effect is a frequent paranoia when it comes to love. Since most folks kissed come under their spell, it’s hard for Casanovas to know who’s love for them is real and who’s isn’t.
Other Paras, Others and the Undead
Ubi love the way they taste.
The Undead are unaffected by Casanovas.
Bacchanalians are immune to them.
Sleeping Beauties are a natural match, as the two have much in common. Their kisses tend to cancel one another out so they can actually treat each other as equals.
Borrowers love borrowing these powers but only male Borrowers can do it since the power is gender specific.
Amazons are resistant to Casanovas even when their power isn’t on.
Powerful Casanovas have a kiss strong enough to break a Drone’s connection to their Hive.
A Casanova can only influence the Duo they kiss, not the other, non-present Duo.
Dhampirs are resistant to Casanovas.
Cannibals and Casanovas are a draw in the seduction department.
A Casanova can control a Doll by kissing it in doll form.
Emoters can’t affect a Casanova’s emotions.
Epicurean meals are especially affecting to a Casanova.
Gifters can gift this power but generally don’t.
Immunes are, obviously immune to Casanovas.
Lucretias, under the influence of a Casanova, are no threat to them.
A Possum kissed by a Casanova while playing dead is just as affected as they would be otherwise.
500’s are often more resistant to Casanova’s the older they get.
