Babels
General
Can cause you to speak a different language and not understand anything spoken to you, for a limited time.
Time limited power.
Powers
Weak Babels can affect a couple of people at a time. While strong Babels can affect large groups.
They reach into other people’s minds and change their language centers giving them a language they don’t know to speak and making it impossible (temporarily) for them to understand anything else said to them.
Can use any spoken language ever spoken.
Weakenesses & Limitations
Can only affect others ability to speak and understand language.
Don’t necessarily understand other languages themselves. Are no more likely than anyone else to be bilingual or multilingual.
Lifestyle
Some love creating mass confusion.
Many, though not all, are anarchists politically.
Overall, they don’t seem to be any more deceptive than regular people.
Side Effects
For reasons no one quite understands, often suffer strokes that affect their own language centers late in life.
Other Paras, Others and the Undead
Can’t affect other Paras who have mind control powers.
Audios and Immunes are, of course, immune.
A Shielder protected by their shield can’t be affected.
Shapeshifting Paras are protected in shifted form.
