Animators
Animators
Animators are human paras who can animate non-living objects. While animated, the object appears to be ‘alive’ and seems capable of hearing, seeing and feeling. The amount of time they animate an object (or objects) for depends on their power. An animated object can be given a task, or a job to do, while animated. These “mission specific” animations last as long as it takes to complete the task assigned or...until the animator’s power runs out, whichever comes first.
Once given a job and animated, only the job’s completion, the objects destruction or the animator’s running out of energy will stop the object.
Power is time-limited and requires a rebound time.
Powers
As mentioned above, Animators have the power to control and animate non-living things. Powerful Animators may be able to animate multiple objects at once.
Animators who come back as ghosts cannot possess humans but can possess objects.
Weaknesses & Limitations
Many Animators (especially those who can control multiple objects) have real problems multitasking and concentrating on more than one or two tasks at the same time.
Animators can’t control living things or the undead. They can, however, control other formerly living things (for instance, taxidermy specimens). However, they can’t control zombies, though, they can ‘zombify’ a non-zombie dead person and control them.
Can't animate anything made of organic or formerly alive natural material. Can't animate mink coats or lizard-skin boots, for instance.
Can't animate anything with lead, tin or silver in it. Religious and sacred objects are also off the table.

All the frailties and weaknesses of normal human beings.
Legal
Clearly the power to animate and ‘bring to life’ non-living objects is something the gov’t would be very concerned about and because of that, they take Animators very seriously.
Lifestyle
Many Animators like mannequins, dolls, action figures and the like for their ability to animate them.
Side Effects
Paranoid schizophrenia is a condition that seems to affect Animators more than other populations. Especially as they get older. They often see threats in the form of inanimate objects.
Other Paras
Puppeteers and other paras who have the ability to exercise mind control are unable to control Animators.
Borrowers don’t borrow Animators powers often because they find the powers require a lot of practice and effort to master.
The undead and Weres claim that most Animators smell and taste ‘musty’, like old books.
Animators can’t animate mirrors or glass in which a Mirror is residing.
Possessors can’t possess the ghosts of Animators.
Animators can animate and control fogs created by Foggers.
